Summary
From high atop the Blading world reign the Blading Legends, a select group of Bladers who set the standard to which all other hopefuls aspire. No challenger yet has succeeded in breaking through their ranks.
A legend among legends, Valt Aoi hosts an exhibition match featuring a revolutionary class of Bey: “Lightning Beys”. Inspired by the battle, two unknown brothers, Hyuga and Hikaru Hizashi, issue a challenge: armed with their own Lightning Beys Hyperion and Helios, this unlikely duo is going to topple Beyblade’s ruling elite.
As the Hizashi brothers’ challenge envelops the world’s Blading legends, a new tournament is born to determine who among them is truly the best. In the middle of this mayhem, there lurks a unique Blader shrouded in mystery.
Will Hikaru and Hyuga be the spark that ignites a Blading revolution? With their solar Beys in hand, the brothers are ready to begin their own legend of growth and adventure.

Trivia
- The Japanese name 'Superking' is focused off of the Ring names of the main protagonist Beyblades of the season, Super Hyperion Xceed 1A and King Helios Zone 1B.
- Surge is the second Burst season where the Japanese and English versions do not start in the same year, first being Beyblade Burst Rise.
- Surge is the first Burst season to not have an elite Blader team, instead it's the Legendary Bladers.
- Surge is the first 'Burst' season to not play the opening theme song in the Japanese next episode preview, instead it plays an alternate version of "Sparking Revoluton."
- Surge is the second season where its localized title cards do not reuse the background from the Japanese opening's logo card, first being Beyblade Burst Rise. Instead the title cards use the beach visual from The Blading Revolution and replays the shot before Hikaru and Hyuga appear running.
- This is also the first season to use a shot from an episode in the English title card.
- Surge is the second Burst season to not feature a new song for the English eyecatcher and instead reuses the theme song for the season, "We Got the Spin", first being Beyblade Burst Turbo.
