Still better than my father. At least David Spade tried to make up for it in the end. Well, I guess my father still has a few years left to try and do that as well.

15Hands down the worse experience NETFLIX have greenlit in the entire history of their enterprise. Ninety minutes of borderline torturous debacle of dense feeble-minded humour that converts into poisonous comedy, inevitably rendered into an agony fuelled experience.

Review by Dawson Joyce ½
The quantity-over-quality, manure-pumping streaming machine that is Netflix once again delivers a dreadfully unfunny collaboration with Adam Sandler's abominable Happy Madison production company in the form of Father of the Year, a seriously painful exercise in testing your patience that's chock-full of terrible pacing, ungodly annoying characters, nonexistent plotting, and ghastly attempts at slapstick and raunchy humor.

They could have just called this Joe Dirt 3 and no one would have noticed.

Ben is a recent college graduate on his way to the New York City to start his new career. On the way him and his best friend Larry take a detour to the small town they grew up in to see their families. Ben's dad, Wayne, is an unemployed alcoholic loser that hasn't done anything with his life. After an incident leads to pending criminal charges for Ben, Wayne goes on a mission to clear his son's name and gain his respect.
I like David Spade as much as the next person, but he hasn't exactly been hitting home runs post-2010. Combine that with the equally weak modern day Happy Madison Productions and you get Father of the Year, a…

My dad and I ate an eighth of shrooms each and put this on while we were peaking. Great decision. I’m sure this movie sucks normally, but while tripping it’s a f*cking masterpiece.

Turned this off after 20 minutes but those 20 minutes were so immensely painful to watch that I feel very comfortable saying this is probably gonna be the worst thing I watch this year.

Updated 2018 list - ClickHEREI’ve had enough of Happy Madison and their crap. These actors have shown chops before so why in the world are they stripped of everything that makes them likeable in these films? Someone please tell me what the story is here? Seriously, I will never understand why studios, or even Netflix, would green light something this mindless. I know you can turn your brain off and have fun but that’s only if the movie is funny. Where is the humor here?
I’m not going to reiterate everything I said in my YouTube review but I’ll hit on some light points. The sheer idiocy of the pee in the humidifier, the old…

I see David Spade received some advice about how to do a grating accent from Adam Sandler.
